Vessel Damaged in Pirate Attack near Nigeria

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) gave information for series of pirate attacks off Nigeria, Indonesia & Mauritania for the last week.
A vessel is damaged around 45nm of Brass, Nigeria after a pirate attack. The product tanker was sailing when 3 skiffs attacked the ship moving fast. At a distance approximately 1.2nm the radar noticed suspected pirate mother ship.
In order to protect the vessel from the approaching skiffs the captain sound the alarm and started evasive actions, then headed towards a nearby oil terminal looking for help from naval guard ships there.
The skiffs started firing towards the bridge and accommodation. The pirates fired with RPG but missed the vessel, but the attack lasted for an hour and finally the ship broke off.
Crew members are not injured but the vessel is damaged.
