2 seafarers kidnapped by pirates in Nigeria

By Piracy

Two people had been kidnapped by pirates in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The kidnappers attacked an offshore supply vessel.
The pirates targeted the ship a week ago and took hostages - the vessel's Honduran master and the Ukrainian chief engineer and after that left the ship.
All other 18 crew members were Nigerians - they are safe. The ship is registered in Nigeria and its owner is Nigeria's Sea Trucks Group and operated by Walvis International.
The crime is happening just days after 3 officers were taken from British general cargo ship Esther C off the coast of Nigeria.
The 3 people, from Romania and Russia, are still thought to be in pirate hands.
