Fishing ships collide with a cargo vessel off Japan: 1 dead, 1 missing

Japanese marine authorities reported that 2 fishing vessels capsized off the western Japan coast after they have crashed into a Taiwanese cargo vessel, killing 1 man and leaving 1 other missing.
The 2 Japanese-registered fishing boats, with a total of 4 people onboard, collided with the 13,000-ton Wan Hai 5 km. west of Kansai airport in Osaka Bay shortly after dawn, a coast guard official reported.
“All 4 people on the 2 fishing vessels were thrown into the water following the accident, while 2 were reported in a good health conditions from the Taiwanese ship, 1 was found dead and 1 is still missing” a coast guard official told.
