Maersk Line ends its participation in LA-Australia Oceania PSW service

Maersk Line withdrawn its Oceania PSW service that plies Oakland, Los Angeles, Australia, New Zealand and Islands of Fiji.
"We are going to replace the “Oceania PSW” service with use of our existing reliable Pacific network, which is going to connect with Oceania through our transshipment hubs in Asia," commented Maersk Line officials.
The last sailings of the service of Oceania “PSW”:
• Southbound: JPO Scorpius sailing 326S, ETD Los Angeles 31st of March, 2013
• Northbound: Pescara sailing 325N, ETD Tauranga 21st of April, 2013
The Oceania-California PSW loop is serviced by Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd, ANL, MSC, Alianca and US Lines. Maersk Line is the only carrier not to secure ships on the loop.
