Cruise ship Kong Harald runs aground in Norway

Kong Harald(Hurtigruten) cruise ship ran aground and took on water overnight north of the Arctic Circle.
The cruise ship is 11,200 tons. 258 passengers (490 passengers capacity) on board had to wait for the tide to come and lift Kong Harald off the underground rock.
All people are safe, no injuries were reported. The situation is under control.
After the cruise ship was free to move headed to Svolvaer. Hurtigruten had to cancel the 8-night Stokmarknes to Kirkenes to Bergen cruise.
The ship has to be repaired and will head to dry-dock in Fiskarstrand for the damaged hull.
There is no information for compensation of the passengers.
