Wan Hai Lines announced today the launch of Japan – India / Pakistan Service “CHS3 service” in the end of May, 2016. This new service will be reorganized to expand Wan Hai Lines network by providing direct service from Japan to India & Pakistan. It will also help to complement Wan Hai Lines existing 5 other India/Pakistan services with better port coverage and frequency.

This service will be jointly operated with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., by using 7 vessels with nominal capacity of 4,250 TEU. Wan Hai Lines will deploy 2 vessels, while MOL will operate 5.

CHS3’s maiden voyage will commence from Osaka port on 30th May, 2016 and arrive in Nhava Sheva on 20th Jun, 2016. It will be a 49-day fixed round trip schedule.

The port rotation will be: Osaka – Kobe – Yokkaichi – Yokohama – Tokyo – Hong Kong – Singapore – Port Kelang (North Port) – Nhava Sheva (GTI) – Karachi (KICT) – Pipavav – Colombo (SAGT) – Port Kelang (North Port) – Singapore –Vung Tau – Shekou – Hong Kong – Osaka.

Wan Hai Lines is confident that customers will be further benefited from optimized service frequency and coverage among Japan / South East Asia / Pakistan and India.
