Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal operated by Fluxys is scheduled to receive the first cargo from Qatar in October.

The 2005-built carrier, Maran Gas Asclepius with the capacity to transport 145,700-cbm, loaded a cargo at Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex on September 15 and headed for Belgium.

The shipping data shows that the vessel is scheduled to deliver the cargo to the Zeebrugge LNG terminal on October 2.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
