Built for the transport of LNG, tanker Coral Energice will be christened in the Port of Turku on 25 January. Coral Energice is a tanker of 1A Super ice class with a capacity of 18,000 m³ contracted from Anthony Veder by Gasum.

Built by the German Neptun Werft shipyard, the tanker will be carrying LNG from Norway and Central Europe to Manga LNG Oy’s import terminal for natural gas in Tornio.

Manga LNG Oy’s import terminal for natural gas in Röyttä, Tornio is a joint project of industrial companies Outokumpu Oyj and SSAB Europe Oy, energy company EPV Energia Oy, and LNG company Skangas. The commercial use of the import terminal will commence in summer 2018. Once completed, the import terminal will be the biggest LNG terminal in the Nordic countries and the second one built in Finland.
