In line with its future expansion plans and with the support of its board, Gulf Navigation Holding signed a strategic contract with Deloitte assigning Deloitte to provide the necessary advisory support to Gulf Navigation in the upcoming acquisition of a large shipping fleet.

Gulf Navigation Holding is in the Process of Acquiring a large Shipping Fleet

HE Khamis Juma Buamim – Board Member, Managing Director and Group CEO – said “This upcoming acquisition represents an important step towards achieving the company’s strategic goal in being a reliable arm for the maritime industry in the UAE and the region. With the completion of this acquisition, Gulf Navigation Holding will witness an unprecedented expansion of its shipping fleet, ship management services and other maritime services’.

Mr. Khamis further informed that ‘ By this Gulf Navigation will become a competitive provider of a wide range of services to the maritime industry in the region. Our services will expand beyond chemical carriers by including other ship types, offshore services, shipping services as well as shipbuilding and repair.”

HE Khamis Juma Buamim added that more information will be revealed at the completion of the acquisition.

Gulf Navigation Holding PJSC (Gulfnav) and its group of companies own and operate chemical tankers. It is the only maritime and shipping company listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

The Gulfnav fleet comprises of 8 chemical tankers as well as 4 crew boats which are used in its Shipping Services business.
