Strategic Marine, one of the world’s leading specialist shipbuilding, fabrication and engineering companies, has secured another order for its popular StratCAT26m windfarm support vessel from EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH, a German offshore maritime services company.
The order is the second vessel of this kind for EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH, and further builds Strategic Marine’s presence in the North Sea renewables sector.
Measuring 26m in length, and powered with a Quad Water Jet propulsion system, the vessel will be used in the offshore wind sector. Key features include capacity for 24 service personnel, active fender system, and a highly efficient, proven hull form, from designer BMT Nigel Gee.
