In 2014, a report issued by the government of Jordan deemed ACT a model private public partnership (PPP) for the country. Based on a build/operate/transfer (BOT) structure, the venture maintains the ownership of the company to the Kingdom, while leveraging on the expertise and the financial capacity of the private sector. ACT is now taking an active role in promoting Aqaba as a strategic regional trading hub, and the preferred gateway to Jordan and beyond.
