The subscription window for LNG services at the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal held from 30 April to 24 May 2019 has seen a positive outcome. Fluxys LNG will now submit the required regulatory documents to Belgian federal energy regulator CREG.
Unloading slots and additional storage services were on offer at the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal over subsequent periods up to 2044. In parallel a market consultation was organised inviting the market to comment on the proposed LNG Services Agreement and tariffs for the services offered.
The level of capacity for which the market has shown interest allows the process to be brought forward.
Taking into account the comments received through the market consultation, Fluxys LNG will now submit to Belgian federal energy regulator CREG a tariff proposal and an LNG Services Agreement proposal for the services requested. The process of allocating the services will proceed upon approval of the regulatory documents.
