Norway’s Siem Offshore has scored a contract for one of its dual-fuel platform supply vessels (PSV) for Wintershall Dea

Siem Offshore nets deal for LNG-fueled Siem Symphony

In its brief statement, Siem Offshore, said it will deploy Siem Symphony to operate under the charter contract with Wintershall Dea in Norway.

The vessel will support a 2-well drilling campaign on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The contract period is estimated between 150 to 200 days and the vessel will commence operation during November 2019.

Siem Symphony, built in 2014, is designed for services to offshore installations and features a dual-fuel engine capable on running on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and marine diesel oil (MDO).
