Berge Kenya was delivered to Berge Bulk on 15 January 2020. The 207,600 DWT bulk carrier was built at the Bohai Shipyard in China and sails under the flag of Isle of Man.

Berge Bulk takes delivery of two newbuildings

She is named after Mount Kenya, the highest mountain in Kenya and the second highest in Africa, after Mount Kilimanjaro.

Berge Dachstein was delivered to Berge Bulk the following day on 16 January 2020. The 208, 718 DWT vessel was built at the Imabari Shipyard in Japan and also sails under the flag of Isle of Man. She is a larger sister ship to the Berge Sarstein and shares one key feature: the Aerocitadel. 

The superstructure is designed for optimal aerodynamics and improved anti-piracy measures. The vessel is named after the Hoher Dachstein, the highest mountain peak of the Dachstein massif in Austria.
