Shipping Australia Limited welcomes Hyundai Merchant Marine Australia as a full voting member.
HMM Australia is part of the Seoul, South Korea-headquartered global integrated logistics company Hyundai Merchant Marine. A member of The Alliance, HMM is active in the container trades, operating over 100 vessels with a combined TEU capacity of more than 394,000 TEU.
Shipping Australia CEO, Rod Nairn was enthusiastic about their new member. “Hyundai Merchant Marine is a significant player in the world shipping scene with interests in almost all sectors of shipping including container, bulk, liquid and heavy lift. This diversity provides strength and enhances our ability to represent all sectors of the international shipping industry,” he said.
