Berge Yotei Joins Berge Bulk Fleet

The 63,000 DWT vessel was built at the Imabari Shipyard in Japan. Sailing under the flag of Isle of Man, Berge Yotei is embarking on her maiden voyage carrying a variety of steel cargoes from South East Asia to South America.

The vessel is named after both a stratovolcano and a well-loved vessel in the Berge Bulk fleet that has retired a couple years ago. Mount Yotei is a stratovolcano located in Shikotsu-Toya National Park in Hokkaido, Japan. Its last recorded eruption was about 6,000 years ago.
