Two of the world’s leading quality assurance and certification organizations, DNV-GL and Lloyd’s Register, have become JIP33 Partners.
Richard Mortimer, Chairman of the JIP33 Steering Committee says:
“Organizations regularly ask us how they can become certified users of JIP33 specifications. Being able to show that specifications are being used in a consistent, quality-assured way is an important part in building confidence and trust in their use across the supply chain.
“We are delighted that DNV-GL and Lloyd’s Register are joining JIP33 as partners, bringing their deep, expert knowledge of certification and assurance in many industries to the conversation.”
Hari Vamadevan, Vice President and Regional Manager, Oil and Gas, DNV GL, UKWA says:
“The best results are always derived from collaboration, and we have over 150-years’ experience in either managing or being a JIP partner. Standardisation and digitalisation have, over the last few years have been an important focus for DNV GL. It is encouraging to see that businesses are facing challenges and seizing innovation and cost saving opportunities by developing standardised specifications together and we are happy to bring our expertise to the table.”
Andrew McKeran, Commercial Director, Marine & Offshore, Lloyd’s Register says:
“Lloyd’s Register is thrilled to join JIP33. Standardisation brings supply chain cost benefits and can minimise non-compliant equipment schedule impacts across a facility’s lifecycle. LR brings knowledge, classification and verification expertise with process engineering skills and geotechnical capabilities and these will enable us to work with the other JIP33 partners to provide compliance, performance and assurance services right through the supply chain and asset lifecycle.”
