Seadrill Partners LLC (OTC:SDLPQ) (Seadrill Partners) has secured a four well contract plus an option for up to seven additional wells for the West Capella in Malaysia.
Total Contract Value for the firm portion of the contract is expected to be approximately $43 million with commencement expected in May 2021 and running to November 2021.
The rig is a 6th generation ultra-deepwater drillship built by Samsung Heavy Industries in 2008. Its maximum water depth is 10,000 feet while the maximum drilling depth is around 37,500 feet.
