Remøy Shipping has been awarded a new charter with Equinor for REM MIST (2011, PSV PX 105). The firm period is six months with options for further extensions. REM MIST has been on successive charters to Equinor since her delivery in 2011.
The new charter will commence in direct continuation of the current contract on 6 May 2022.
REM MIST is a large and modern PSV with hybrid electric system, shore power and polar code certification.
Remøy Shipping is a fully integrated shipping company and has its main activity within the oil and gas industry since the beginning of the 1980s. The company is a long-term owner of large and modern PSVs. The company’s own fleet comprises the three PSVs REM HRIST, REM MIST and REM EIR, as well as the Navy vessel MAGNUS LAGABØTE. The PSVs are built according to Equinor’s specifications and have been chartered to the energy major since their delivery. MAGNUS LAGABØTE is chartered to the Norwegian Navy. The company also has a significant management business and are currently providing commercial, technical and crewing services for vessels owned by other shipowners.
