The CDP scores for the 2022 round of disclosures have been released and in its second year of reporting, Klaveness Combination Carriers “KCC” is once again recognized for its performance and commitment to taking action on climate change by retaining its B score rating.

Klaveness Combination Carriers retains B score for ‘climate change’ by CDP

CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform and is widely recognized as the leading benchmark for environmental reporting, with a record 18,700+ companies responding in 2022. Grades are determined based on a transparent methodology that assesses the comprehensiveness of disclosure, awareness and management of environmental risks, and best practices associated with environmental leadership such as setting ambitious and meaningful targets.

“We are pleased to see that the CDP has once again recognized our commitments to improve our environmental performance by granting us a B score for climate change for the second year in a row.

It is more important than ever to focus on reducing our environmental footprint. It strengthens our competitive advantage, and it’s the right thing to do. Even without access to zero-emission fuels, the potential for emission reductions is significant and KCC’s environmental strategy sets out high ambitions. We will continue to work on a broad set of both technical, operational, and trading initiatives to continuously improve our performance and we will remain transparent on how we perform,” says Liv H. Dyrnes, CFO of Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA.
