EPS welcomes delivery of company’s first duel-fuelled PCTC

Singapore-headquartered Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) on Saturday (4 November) welcomed the delivery of its first duel-fuelled Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC).

Construction of the 7,000 CEU Lake Herman started from August 2022 at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Weihai) Co. Ltd.

The newbuilding is equipped with dual-fuel liquefied natural gas (LNG) capabilities and offers green features such as shaft generator, shore and battery power.

“LNG fuel and green technology on the vessel is testament of EPS' commitment to the development of green, low carbon vessels supporting the industry’s decarbonisation goals,” said EPS in a social media post.

“What's more, the vessel is also equipped with Padel Tennis facility on board, taking life at sea to a whole new level.”
