Fratelli Cosulich Group celebrates its new vessel Marta Cosulich

Fratelli Cosulich Bunkers Singapore commenced its physical supply business in 2005, which was a major milestone in the Group’s global bunkering operations. Since then, the company has expanded and modernized its local fleet, now comprising five bunker tankers, one IMO2 chemical bunker tanker (Marta Cosulich), and another under construction set for delivery by the end of 2025.

The Group is committed to strengthening our presence in the port of Singapore, the world’s largest bunkering hub. The Company’s investments in new assets, designed to carry alternative fuels, align with Singapore’s ambition to be a leader in maritime decarbonization while maintaining its competitive edge.

“We are honored to contribute to Singapore’s success and support the Maritime Port Authority in achieving its ambitious goals.

Marta Cosulich, with its 8.7000m3, reflects our proactive approach to sustainable shipping. As the first ship in our fleet ready to carry methanol, it shows we are ready to serve the industry with fuels of the future. We are dedicated to leading the way in environmental responsibility, not only with methanol but also through our commitment to LNG and other emerging technologies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our operations.”

Marta Cosulich, CEO and Board Member of Fratelli Cosulich Group, served as the godmother of the vessel during the ceremony. Her presence underscores the connection between Company's rich history and its innovative future.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to the exceptional team at Fratelli Cosulich Bunker Singapore. Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have brought Marta Cosulich to life, ensuring it will be managed with the utmost care and expertise.

As we christen Marta Cosulich, we look forward to a bright and prosperous future, confident that this vessel will serve our industry and clients with distinction. We wish Marta Cosulich fair winds and smooth seas on all her voyages.”
