The Spanish search and rescue boat Salvamar Nunki picked up two life rafts from the Chinese tuna fishing vessel Feng Shun No3.
The 468-gt fishing vessel run aground in the morning of June 26, off the coast of Gando Peninsula, Gran Canaria.

Three other Spanish SAR vessels, Punta Salinas, Luz de Mar and Guardamar Talía, together with helicopter Helimer 210 were dispatched to the site by the Rescue Coordination Center in Las Palmas, following the Mayday call at 10.38 am local time.
On board Feng Shun No3 were 26 Chinese, 9 Filipinos and 4 Indonesian nationals.

All 37 crew members abandoned the 48m-long ship in life rafts, while the captain and chief engineer, remained on board.
The crew was later airlifted by a helicopter. The vessel was hard aground with a starboard list, no spill reported.
