The second container ship of the CMA CGM group's three-vessel Guyanamax series, CMA CGM Marseille, has been delivered.
The French container line took delivery of the boxship on July 29 from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, South Korea.
The 2,100-TEU CMA CGM Marseille, together with its sister vessels, will be positioned on the NEFGUI (North Europe-French Guiana-North Brazil) line. It is expected that the new additions will increase the line's capacity by 18%.
The first vessel from the Guyanamax series, CMA CGM Cayenne, was delivered on July 21, while the third sister, CMA CGM Saint Laurent, is expected to be delivered next month.
