The cargo vessel Nathalie has run aground at Bath in South Beveland, the Netherlands.
The incident occurred this morning around 5 a.m. local time during low tie. The vessel, which was en route from Antwerp with six-man crew, had just entered the Wester Scheldt when it grounded on the cobbles of the embankment.
The Nathalie reportedly has sustained damage to the hull and developed a slight list to port. First the scene reached the Multratug 30 and RWS 78. The vessel was re-floated around 1:45 p.m. local time, shortly before high tide.
An investigation into the grounding has been launched.
