The passenger/Ro-Ro cargo ship Eurocargo Istanbul allided with the anchored cargo vessel BBC Bahrain in the early Sunday morning (Jan 31) on the outer anchorage of Livorno, Italy.

The ferry was en route to Livorno from Cagliari. After it suffered engine trouble, it asked for tug assistance.
Due to bad weather with strong wind, towline broke, and the ferry hit the anchored cargo ship.

Little damage was reported, and the ferry was anchored on the outer roads because docking still was risky due to the bad weather.
