Under the agreement, KDJV would provide front-end engineering and design/engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (FEED/EPCIC) of the near-shore FLNG facilities.

The first project for Lloyds Energy will be a phased development comprising a near-shore mid-scale FLNG facility while assessing additional near-shore FLNG locations.

The company says it is targeting development of a number of near-shore FLNG facilities based on a single design which would include onshore reception facilities for export gas.

Additionally, the design includes a relatively short gas pipeline connecting the liquefaction barge with the storage facilities, LNG offloading facilities, and onshore maintenance facilities.
