Spotted: Aqaba Container Terminal welcomes its largest ever vessel call

Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), the preferred gateway to Jordan and the Levant region, today welcomed the maiden call of UASC MV UNAYZAH as part of the RES service.

ACT Management representatives and UASC Jordan Agents arranged for a visit to the vessel. ACT COO, Mr. Robert Snow welcomed the vessel to Aqaba and ACT, he presented a commemorative plaque to the Captain on this maiden call.

Mr. Robert Snow commented: “The arrival of 13000+ TEU vessels into Aqaba and ACT is not only a great achievement for ACT following the recent expansion of the terminal, but also a sign of confidence in our Operational performance and capabilities by our customers. Despite the ongoing regional political instability, we are proud that ACT can welcome and handle such vessel calls, which will further support the supply chain and the Jordanian economy.”
