Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Adm. Vladimir Korolev has started his visit to China, where he will meet with the country’s military leadership, spokesman for the Russian Navy Igor Dygalo said on Thursday.

"In accordance with the plan of international military cooperation, a Russian military delegation headed by commander-in-chief of the Navy, Admiral Vladimir Korolev, has started an official visit to the People’s Republic of China. The agenda of the visit stipulates meetings with the leadership of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the PLA Navy," Dygalo said.
Adm. Korolev’s visit to China will last until November 6.
According to the Russian Navy spokesman, the commander-in-chief will go to the Qingdao Naval Base, where he will visit one of the combat ships, as well as submarines and submariners’ higher naval school.
