Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc.(N-OTC: CHEMS), an international shipping company focused on the transportation of chemicals, yesterday announced that it has entered into a $54.3 million secured loan facility, which finances the last two of the Company’s 25,000 dwt stainless steel chemical tanker newbuildings currently under construction at Japan’s Kitanihon shipyard.
The loan facility covers approximately 65% of the contract price of the Vessels, and has been provided by a European bank.
