CMA CGM is a key actor in the development of shipping transportation in Algeria
This agreement is part of the CMA CGM development strategy in Algeria, which aims at accompanying shipping transportation development within the country.
CMA CGM established its presence in Algeria 20 years ago, a country now at the heart of CMA CGM’s activities within the Mediterranean Sea. Ten agencies are located across the country (Algiers, Djen Djen, Mostaganem, Oran, Skikda, Sétif, Ghazaouet, Constantine, Annaba, and Bejaia) and employ more than 260 experts. CMA CGM offers 5 maritime services (Euronaf, Algeria Shuttle, Wemed, RoRo Algérie, NAF TS) and calls 9 Algerian ports.
The group is able to accompany the development of its local clients and new market growth, for both imports and exports, thanks to connections offered with France, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, and the Arabian Gulf. Calls offered in CMA CGM’s hubs connect Algeria to the entire world.
