In July two vessels of Northern Shipping Company M/V "Kapitan Yakovlev" and M/V "Kapitan Mironov", deployed on in the EU-Baltic service, delivered oversized heavy lift cargo from the Port of Antwerp to St. Petersburg, the NSC said Wednesday.
The M/V Kapitan Yakovlev has transported a 136-tonne Methanol Synthesis Reactor to the MSCC Bronka terminal. The cargo is intended for Tula based Shchekin. The M/V Kapitan Mironov has delivered two 8,4-meter diameter, 36-tonne technological rings to Bashkiria.
The NSC ships sailing on the service call all major terminals at Big Port St. Petersburg. The liner operator deployed four modern ice-class vessels with the following port rotation: St. Petersburg - Antwerp - Rotterdam - Hamburg. The agent is the NSC' subsidiary NSC-Petersburg.
