Earlier this week, Wagenborg shipped a deck cargo of silos to the Finnish Gulf. The project cargo was loaded on the mv IJerborg in the port of Antwerp, Belgium.
The mv IJzerborg is one of the geared 12.000 dwt vessels in the Wagenborg fleet.
Geared 12.000 DWT vessel suitable to carry project cargo
The geared 12.000 dwt vessels - 7 vessels in total - are often used for regularly sailed routes in several areas where the Company has proven to be successful, resulting in a semi-liner service. The semi-liner service has regular departures, but no fixed schedule. With a large deck space of 1.530 m2, tween decks and two 80 mton deck cranes, the 12.000 dwt vessels offer possibilities to load deck / project cargo
A semi liner service for project cargo
The semi-liner service calls a few fixed ports, however there are possibilities to call additional ports. Because of Wagenborg global network with offices in North-America, South and North-Europe, the Company is able to arrange end-to-end logistic solutions, including pre and on-carriage.
