Irish Ferries is reminding passengers intending to travel over the Christmas and New Year holiday period that they should book early in order to secure their preferred sailings.
Pointing to the fact that Christmas is normally the busiest time of year, their head of passenger sales, Dermot Merrigan said: “Many of our customers choose to drive home for the festive season with Christmas CD’s playing and their car boots filled with large items such as suitcases, bulky toys and boxed gifts.”
“With no baggage charges, passengers can fit in as much as they like – including of course, their favourite Christmas jumpers, winter coats and perhaps even some wine and mistletoe – it all goes free on the ferry,” he adds.
On the Irish Sea, Irish Ferries operates up to 16 daily crossings between Dublin and Holyhead and Rosslare and Pembroke.
