The vessel has been 16 months in warm lay-up due to the downturn in the market that was caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The term contract for the vessel is to a first class international operator and work scope consist of Survey; both Geotechnical and Geophysical, and IMR duties. 

This new contract are entered into on today's market terms and GEOS are happy to announce that term contracts for 4 of its 4 vessels are secured, we have well in excess of 90% utilization until Q4-22,  in an market that are improving and forecasted to continue improve.

The vessel is of well known UT 755-L design and is a mechanically driven -supply ship/ pipe carrier, which is designed to meet the general market. The vessel is designed for field supply & ROV duties, equipped with 4 thrusters and DP 2 class dynamic positioning system and is ideal for all kind of offshore services World Wide. 

The vessel has for the time being additional accommodation units and is doing diving operations.

The vessel is built with an integrated system of two passive stabilizing tanks below main deck for minimize roll. This has resulted in a drastic improvement in the crew comfort but it also allows the vessels to remain along the platforms in heavier weather than other vessels. It also benefits in lower fuel consumption.
